NGI provides fluid maintenance services to maintain system performance, protect critical components, and reduce the risk of premature failure. Work is performed on gearbox oil systems, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, and lubrication points to ensure fluids are maintained within required condition and specification.
Fluid systems are exposed to temperature extremes, contamination, moisture ingress, and mechanical stress, all of which degrade fluid quality over time. NGI executes fluid maintenance scopes to remove degraded fluids, restore system cleanliness, and ensure proper performance across all fluid-dependent systems.
Service of gearbox lubrication systems to maintain oil condition and protect internal components. Includes controlled draining of used oil, flushing where required, and refilling with OEM-approved oil. Filtration and cleanliness checks are performed to ensure oil meets required standards prior to operation.
Replacement of hydraulic fluid within pitch and braking systems to maintain system response and reliability. Includes full system drainage, filter replacement, and flushing of hydraulic circuits where contamination or moisture is present. Systems are refilled with specification-matched hydraulic fluid and verified for proper operation.
Service of cooling systems used for converters, transformers, and nacelle equipment.
Includes removal of existing coolant, system flushing, and refilling with OEM-approved coolant. Cooling components such as hoses, pumps, and seals are checked during service to ensure proper heat transfer and system function.
Removal of degraded grease and re-lubrication of main and yaw bearings.
Includes purging contaminated grease, inspection during lubrication, and application of fresh grease using controlled methods to ensure proper distribution and coverage.
Verification of fluid condition, including checks for contamination, moisture, discoloration, and degradation. Supports early identification of issues affecting lubrication, hydraulic performance, and cooling efficiency.
Post-service verification to confirm proper system function, including pressure checks, leak checks, and operational response.
